Product Details

A worn or mismatched thermostat can affect automatic shut-off and temperature response in electric heating equipment. The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat temperature control switch is designed for normally closed operation, keeping the circuit closed until the sensing surface reaches 95°C/203°F, then opening the circuit for automatic control.

This snap disc thermostat supports a 10A 250V AC switching capacity and is built with metal and plastic components in a compact 5g design per unit. The KSD301 flat leg movable ring design supports installation on suitable surfaces while helping keep the metal sensing surface in contact with the appliance heat-transfer area.

For installation, position the sensing surface firmly against the heat-transfer area. Thermal conductive paste is recommended where appropriate to improve heat transfer. This pack includes 5 identical thermostats for repair, replacement, maintenance, batch installation, or project use.

Suitable application areas include compatible electric heating appliances such as water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, HVAC equipment, water dispensers, space heaters, kitchen appliances, and automotive seat heaters when the electrical rating, temperature setting, and mounting style match the original part requirements.
