A weak or mismatched capacitor can prevent an air conditioner, condenser, heat pump, or AC motor system from operating correctly. This Meter Star CBB65B dual run capacitor provides 30μF and 5μF capacitance in one round unit, supporting compatible compressor motor and fan motor operation.

The capacitor is rated for 370V/440V AC at 50/60Hz with a capacitance tolerance of ±6%. It uses a metallized polypropylene film dielectric and metal-shell construction, with a stated 10,000 AFC safety rating and anti-explosion design. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C (-104°F to 158°F), making it suitable for demanding HVAC equipment environments when specifications match.

Wiring is simplified with three clearly marked terminals: Herm or H for compressor, Fan or F for fan motor, and C for common. The round body measures 50mm in diameter and 100mm in height. It can replace compatible round or oval capacitors only when the microfarad rating, voltage, size, terminal layout, and equipment requirements are correct.
