Product Details

Electric heating appliances often need a reliable thermal control component to help manage circuit operation at a defined temperature. The Meter Star KSD301 snap disc thermostat is a normally closed temperature control switch that keeps the circuit closed during normal operation and opens when the sensing surface reaches 180°C/356°F.

Rated for 250V/10A, this thermostat uses snap-action switching for quick circuit interruption at the setpoint. It features a metal sensing cover, plastic housing, and flat-leg movable ring design for secure mounting on controlled surfaces.

For accurate temperature response, apply thermal conductive paste between the thermostat metal cover and the appliance surface during installation. This supports better heat transfer between the controlled surface and the thermostat sensor.

Suitable applications include water heaters, water dispensers, coffee makers, space heaters, dryers, kitchen appliances, drying equipment, and other electric heating devices requiring thermal regulation. This pack includes 5 thermostats for repair, maintenance, or multiple installation points.
