Product Details

Electric heating appliances often need a simple temperature control switch to help interrupt power when a set heat level is reached. The Meter Star KSD301 snap disc thermostat is a normally closed temperature switch that conducts current under normal conditions and opens at 65°C/149°F.

Rated for 250V/10A, this thermostat is designed for many compatible low to medium-power electric heating applications within the original use scope, including water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, water dispensers, coffee pots, sandwich makers, and small space heaters. Its mechanical bimetal snap-action design does not require programming or external power.

Each thermostat uses a metal sensing disc with a plastic housing and weighs 5g. The KSD301 flat leg movable ring design supports flexible mounting on appliance surfaces. For accurate temperature response, install the metal cover directly against the appliance surface; thermal conductive paste may be used when appropriate. Avoid deforming the metal cover during installation to help maintain calibrated performance.
