Product Details

When an electric heating appliance needs automatic temperature control, a snap-action thermostat helps interrupt the circuit once the set temperature is reached. This Meter Star KSD302 normally closed switch keeps the circuit connected during normal operation and opens at 45°C/113°F for controlled temperature switching.

Rated 16A at 250V, this thermostat can be used in compatible household and commercial electric heating applications, including water heaters, coffee makers, water dispensers, sandwich toasters, dryers, and space heaters. The metal sensing cover and plastic base support contact temperature sensing in a compact, lightweight 5 g unit.

The KSD302 design includes a curved leg and fixed ring for secure mounting in compatible installations. For effective heat transfer, mount the metal cover directly to the controlled surface and apply thermal conductive grease as recommended. Avoid deforming the cover during installation to help maintain the calibrated snap-action mechanism.
