Product Details

Electric heating devices often need a reliable temperature control switch to interrupt power when a set limit is reached. The Meter Star KSD301 snap disc thermostat is designed to help manage circuit control by opening when the sensing surface reaches 160°C/320°F.

This normally closed bimetallic disc switch keeps the circuit closed during normal operation. At the calibrated temperature point, the disc snaps open to cut power. It is rated for 250V/10A and features a compact metal and plastic construction with a net weight of 5g.

The flat leg movable ring KSD301 design supports secure mounting and direct thermal contact. For proper installation, apply thermal conductive paste to the sensing surface and mount the metal cover directly onto the controlled surface without deforming the cover.
