Product Details

Electric heating equipment often needs a temperature switch that activates a circuit only when the monitored surface reaches a set point. The Meter Star KSD301 snap disc thermostat is a normally open temperature control switch preset to close at 80°C/176°F, helping support safety cut-in circuits, heating stages, and related temperature control applications.

This thermostat switch is rated 10A at 250V and uses snap-disc switching for quick contact action. It features a metal sensing cover, plastic housing, compact 5g design, and KSD301 flat leg movable ring structure for mounting on suitable surfaces. Circuit resistance is greater than 50 MΩ to help reduce leakage current in supported applications.

For accurate temperature sensing, install the metal cover in full contact with the target surface. Thermal conductive paste or silicone grease between the metal cover and installation surface is recommended, and the cover should not be deformed during installation.

The 5-pack format is suitable for repair, replacement, and production work in compatible electric heating systems, including water heaters, coffee makers, food warming trays, drying equipment, disinfection cabinets, and other temperature-controlled appliances.
