The Meter Star KSD302 snap disc thermostat is a normally closed temperature control switch that maintains circuit continuity until the temperature reaches 150°C/302°F, then opens the circuit to cut power.

This KSD302 type thermostat switch features a fixed ring curved leg design for stable mounting during temperature cycles. Its compact construction includes a metal sensing cover with a plastic housing in a black and silver finish, and each switch weighs about 5g for easy integration into appliance repair, service work or batch maintenance.

Rated for 16A 250V AC with 50 MΩ insulation resistance, this automatic reset thermostat switch is suitable for controlling heating elements in household and commercial appliances. Common use scenarios include water heaters, coffee makers, toasters, dryers, disinfection cabinets, microwave ovens, electric heating devices and seat heaters.

For proper heat transfer, install the metal cover flush against the appliance surface and use thermal conductive paste as recommended. Avoid deforming the cover during installation.
