Meter Star 2-Pack Flame Sensor Igniter Rod and Direct Spark Ignitor for Gas Fire Pits, Furnaces and Outdoor Heating

Weak spark, poor flame sensing, or inconsistent startup can prevent gas appliances from igniting correctly. This Meter Star 2-pack flame sensor igniter sensing rod and direct spark ignitor kit provides replacement components for compatible ignition systems, including Rheem 62-24164-01 furnace applications and Suburban 232258 2-prong electrode assemblies.

The kit is suitable for supported fireplaces, fire pits, furnaces, grills, water heaters, and outdoor heating appliances that use propane or natural gas igniter systems. The direct spark ignitor is made from FeCrAl alloy and is specified to withstand temperatures up to 1300°C / 2370°F. The high-temperature cable is specified as rated up to 480°F.

The adjustable electrode pin can be bent to help set the sparking area height for different burner configurations. Listed specifications include a 2-1/8 inch tip, 0.084 inch diameter round pin terminal, 13/16 inch ground electrode offset, and 1/8 inch spark gap.
