Meter Star Flame Rod Sensor Igniter, 24 VAC Replacement for SV9500 SV9600 IG9500 Heating Appliances

Ignition failure or weak flame sensing can keep a compatible heating appliance from starting properly. This Meter Star flame rod sensor igniter is designed as a replacement for supported SV9500, SV9600, IG9500 and SV9500M valve and ignition configurations, helping restore normal ignition operation when the existing igniter is worn or faulty.

The igniter operates at 24 VAC and replaces part numbers including Q3450, Q3620, Q3480 and R42640-001. It reaches 1800°F (982°C) in 2.5 to 3 seconds and has a cold resistance of 4 to 6 Ohms at approximately 75°F (24°C).

Built with 18-gauge copper lead wires and high-temperature fiberglass insulation, this replacement flame sensor igniter is suitable for compatible natural gas and liquefied petroleum heating systems. Common applications include furnaces, boilers, water heaters, unit heaters and swimming pool heaters.

The kit includes the flame rod sensor, mounting clip and necessary installation hardware. It is designed to fit specific Armstrong furnace models, including UJ, GUK and GCK series, as well as other compatible units.
