A worn fire pot or burned-out ignitor can make a pellet grill hard to start and may affect pellet combustion. This Meter Star replacement kit provides the key parts needed for a practical pellet grill repair, including 1 fire burn pot, 1 hot rod ignitor, 1 fuse, and a set of screws.

The hot rod ignitor uses a 200W/120V high-density cartridge heating element to help ignite hardwood pellets during startup. A 30-inch wire lead supports routing during installation, and the plug-and-play design helps simplify replacement with basic wiring.

The fire burn pot is made from 14-gauge steel and measures 5 in x 3.5 in x 3.75 in. Its 7 large air holes support airflow and combustion inside the pellet grill burner.

For installation, position the hot rod so it protrudes 1/8 to 1/4 inch into the fire pot. If the old ignitor rod is swollen and difficult to remove, the end may be cut with diagonal pliers as a removal aid.
