Meter Star Propane Electronic Pulse Gas Igniter Kit with 16 in Electrode Cable for Patio Heaters, Grills and Fire Pits

When a propane patio heater, grill, stove, fire pit, or outdoor fireplace becomes difficult to light, the igniter assembly may be worn or damaged. This Meter Star replacement kit provides an electronic pulse gas igniter with an electrode cable assembly to help bring back convenient push-button spark ignition.

The igniter operates on one AAA battery at DC 1.5V and connects to a 16-inch, 400 mm ignition cable. The cable uses PP plastic insulation and is designed for high-temperature resistance up to 200°C. Sharp DIY-ready electrode sparkers help deliver focused sparking for gas ignition when correctly installed.

This kit is designed for use with compatible outdoor propane patio heaters, including glass tube commercial models, as well as grills, stoves, fire pits, fireplaces, and other gas appliances. To install, insert the igniter into the control box, connect the electrode to the pilot burner bracket, insert the battery, flip the red switch, and push to ignite.

For proper operation, maintain about a 6 mm gap between the sparker tip and the burner hole. The compact component design helps fit within appliance housings, and the CSA certified component supports use as a replacement ignition part in applicable gas appliance repair and maintenance projects.
