Product Details

Water splashing into a kayak cockpit can make recreational paddling uncomfortable and distracting during day trips, coastal outings, touring, or calm water use. The Meter Star kayak spray skirt provides a practical cockpit splash barrier for sit-in kayaks and canoes in typical flatwater and moderate conditions.

The cover is made from durable 300D nylon-coated Oxford fabric for water resistance, tear resistance, and lightweight portability. Hot-pressed waterproof seam sealing at critical sewing areas adds protection against leakage, and the product has been high-pressure water leakage tested for typical paddling conditions.

An adjustable elastic band system fits kayak cockpits from 4 ft to 8 ft in circumference. The elastic rope draw and lock design allows quick, tool-free installation and removal, helping paddlers secure the cockpit apron before launch and pack it away after use.

This kayak cockpit cover is intended for recreational kayaking, canoeing, calm water paddling, and moderate water conditions. It is not recommended for whitewater use, rolling maneuvers, complete submersion, or situations where any water ingress would be unacceptable.
