A weak or failed igniter can make a gas grill, stove, range, or heater difficult to light. This Meter Star universal piezo igniter kit provides a battery-free push button spark solution for propane and natural gas appliances when the installation size and grounding setup are suitable.

Each igniter generates a ≥20kV spark with a 3-5mm sparking distance and uses one-press-one-spark operation. The kit includes 2 pieces, useful for replacing two igniters or keeping one as a spare. The 11.8 inch, 30cm cable supports flexible routing, and the universal M10×1 threaded electrode has a 57mm total length.

The electrode features a 19.5mm straight pin with a 135-degree angled head measuring 9.0mm, helping position the spark near the burner tip. Proper grounding is required: the igniter must connect to a metal control panel or conductive surface so the spark is directed correctly instead of jumping to the electrode base.

Designed for high-temperature gas appliance environments, the wire resistance is rated to 392°F, 200°C. Minor modifications may be required during DIY installation to match existing mounting holes or cable lengths.
