When an electric heating appliance or equipment circuit needs automatic temperature switching, a KSD301 snap disc thermostat helps control operation based on surface temperature. This Meter Star temperature control switch is designed for contact sensing and closes the circuit when temperature rises above its 135°C/275°F set point.

The switch has a normally open configuration, a 10A 250V electrical rating, and a bimetallic snap disc mechanism for quick contact action. Its metal cover and plastic base construction make it a compact replacement component for suitable heating appliances, equipment, automation circuits, and over-temperature control applications.

For installation, mount the metal cover in close contact with the surface being monitored. Thermal conductive compound is recommended to improve heat transfer and sensing response, and the cover should not be deformed during mounting. This pack includes 5 identical KSD301 thermostat temperature switches for multiple repair or replacement needs.
