When an appliance, heating device, or control circuit needs automatic activation at a defined temperature, the Meter Star KSD301 thermostat switch offers a compact snap-action control solution. This normally open thermostat keeps the circuit open below 45°C/113°F and closes when the sensed temperature rises to or above that set point.

Rated 10A/250V, this snap disc temperature control switch is suitable for a wide range of repair, maintenance, OEM, and DIY applications. Common use scenarios include water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, HVAC equipment, water dispensers, space heaters, commercial food warmers, automotive seat heaters, warming devices, ventilation triggers, protective circuits, and industrial equipment.

The switch uses a metal sensing cover with a plastic housing and a flat leg movable ring KSD301 design for flexible mounting on suitable surfaces. For contact temperature sensing, apply thermal conductive compound to the metal surface during installation to support effective heat transfer.

This pack includes 5 identical 45°C/113°F normally open thermostats for appliance service, equipment maintenance, or multiple temperature control projects. Each unit has a compact, lightweight 5g design and 50 MΩ circuit resistance.
