Electrical appliances that require automatic temperature cutoff need a reliable switch to help interrupt the circuit at a defined temperature. The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat temperature control switch is a normally closed snap disc switch designed to open the circuit when the controlled surface exceeds 45°C/113°F.

Each switch is rated 10A at 250V and has a circuit resistance of 50 MΩ. The bimetal disc mechanism uses metal and plastic construction, with each unit weighing 5g. The KSD301 flat leg movable ring design supports secure mounting on controlled appliance surfaces.

For installation, apply thermal conductive paste between the metal cover and the appliance surface to improve heat transfer and temperature sensing contact. The pack includes 5 identical thermostat switches for multiple replacements, repair work, DIY builds, or production use.
