Heating appliances and temperature-control projects require a correctly rated switch to help interrupt the circuit when the set temperature is reached. The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat switch is a normally closed snap disc temperature control component designed to keep the circuit closed during normal operation and open at 125°C/257°F.

This KSD301 thermal switch uses snap-disc bimetallic technology for quick response to temperature changes. It is rated 10A/250V and features a metal cover, plastic base, compact 5g construction, and a flat leg movable ring design for secure mounting and thermal contact with the monitored surface.

Use this thermostat switch for compatible water heaters, water dispensers, coffee makers, toasters, dryers, space heaters, HVAC systems, automotive heating accessories, and suitable gas or electric appliance repair applications. For proper operation, install the metal cover in full contact with the monitored surface; thermal conductive paste may be used to improve heat transfer. Avoid deforming the sensing cover during installation.
