Heating appliances and electrical repair projects often require a compact temperature control switch that opens the circuit when a set heat point is reached. The Meter Star KSD302 thermostat temperature control switch uses a snap-action bimetallic disc to help regulate power in compatible heating applications at 125°C/257°F.

This normally closed thermostat keeps the circuit closed during normal operation and opens when the sensed temperature reaches the calibrated threshold. After the temperature drops below the threshold, it resets automatically for repeated temperature control cycles in supported equipment.

Rated 16A/250V, this KSD302 snap disc switch can be used with compatible electric heating appliances and components such as water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, water dispensers, compact heaters, drying equipment, disinfection cabinets, and other electric heating devices.

The switch features a metal sensing cover, high-temperature plastic construction, fixed ring terminal design, and curved legs for secure mounting connections. Each unit weighs approximately 5g and has an insulation resistance of 50 MΩ.

For accurate temperature response, install the metal cover in direct, firm contact with the monitored surface. Thermal conductive grease between the metal cover and the target surface can improve heat transfer, and the sensing cover should not be deformed during installation.
