The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat switch is a normally closed snap disc control that keeps the circuit closed until the calibrated 55°C/131°F temperature point is exceeded, then opens the circuit.

Rated 10A at 250V, this temperature control switch is suitable for a range of heating and appliance applications, including water heaters, coffee makers, small appliances, warming trays, and DIY or industrial heating projects. Its snap-action operation supports consistent circuit switching for temperature regulation and overheat protection.

The thermostat features a metal sensing cover, plastic housing, and compact KSD301 flat leg movable ring design for surface mounting. For contact temperature sensing, install the metal cover against the surface being monitored; a thin layer of thermal conductive paste can improve heat transfer and response.
