Unstable temperature control in heating appliances can cause unwanted shutdowns, overheating concerns, or inconsistent operation. The Meter Star KSD302 snap disc thermostat is designed to keep the circuit closed during normal operation and open automatically when the controlled surface reaches the preset 175°C/347°F trip temperature.

This normally closed temperature control switch is rated 16A at 250V AC for compatible electrical heating applications. Its compact metal and plastic construction weighs 5g and uses a fixed-ring design with curved legs for secure mounting and stable thermal contact.

Use this KSD302 thermostat for compatible water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, water dispensers, kitchen appliances, automotive seat heaters, and small industrial heating equipment. The 5-pack format is convenient for multiple replacements, maintenance work, or production assemblies.

For accurate temperature response, install the metal cover flush against the controlled surface and apply thermal conductive grease to the sensing surface. Avoid deforming the cap during mounting to help preserve the snap-action mechanism and calibration.
