The Meter Star KSD302 snap disc thermostat provides normally closed switching, keeping the circuit on until the sensed temperature exceeds 40°C/104°F, then opening the circuit through snap-action operation.

This thermostat switch is rated 16A at 250V and is designed for a wide range of heating and cooling appliance applications. Common use areas include water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, HVAC equipment, water dispensers, electric cooking pots, disinfection cabinets, and automotive seat heaters.

Each unit uses a metal sensing cover with a plastic body and weighs about 5g. The KSD302 design includes a curved leg and fixed ring for stable mounting. For accurate temperature sensing, apply thermal conductive paste between the metal cover and the installation surface to support heat transfer.
