Electric heating appliances and control circuits often require a temperature switch that responds when a set heat level is reached. The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat provides a normally open snap disc switching solution for applications that need temperature-activated operation.

This thermostat closes at 115°C/239°F and has a 10A/250V electrical rating. Its bimetal snap-disc mechanism delivers quick switching action, while the compact metal and plastic body helps fit suitable appliance and equipment layouts.

The KSD301 flat leg movable ring design helps secure the thermostat to the controlled surface. For improved heat transfer and more accurate sensing, the source recommends applying thermal conductive paste between the metal cover and the appliance surface during installation.
