The Meter Star KSD302 thermostat temperature control switch is a normally closed snap disc thermal switch designed to open when the monitored surface temperature exceeds 50°C/122°F.

Rated 16A/250V, this compact temperature switch is used for contact temperature sensing in compatible household and light industrial heating equipment. Its metal sensing cover and plastic housing support space-saving installation, while the curved leg fixed ring KSD302 design helps keep the switch mounted against the controlled surface.

Suitable applications include compatible water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, small HVAC components, water dispensers, personal heaters, automotive seat warmers, DIY temperature control projects, maintenance work, and manufacturing use. For proper heat transfer, install the metal cover in full contact with the monitored surface and use thermal conductive silicone grease as specified in the source instructions.
