When a heating appliance or equipment circuit needs automatic temperature-based switching, a snap disc thermostat helps control circuit activation at a defined temperature point. The Meter Star KSD301 is a fixed 125°C/257°F Normally Open thermostat switch designed to close the circuit when the ambient temperature exceeds its calibrated set point.

This temperature control switch is rated 10A at 250V AC and uses a metal sensing disc with a plastic housing. Its compact, lightweight 5g design and flat leg movable ring KSD301 structure support installation in equipment where limited space and secure mounting are important.

Use this thermal control switch for applications such as water heaters, water dispensers, coffee makers, coffee pots, sandwich toasters, dryers, small motors, and industrial equipment when the temperature setting, circuit type, voltage, and current rating match the project requirements. The 5 pack supports repair work, maintenance stock, or batch equipment assembly.

For installation, place the metal surface in full contact with the controlled surface. Thermal conductive paste may be used to improve heat transfer sensitivity.
