This Meter Star KSD301 normally closed temperature control switch keeps the circuit closed during normal operation and opens the circuit when the sensing disc reaches 140°C/284°F.

Rated 250V 10A, the switch is designed for a range of household and commercial electric heating equipment. Common applications include water heaters, electric kettles, coffee makers, food warmers, dryers, space heaters, and other electric heating devices that require a normally closed thermostat switch.

The KSD301 design features a metal sensing disc with plastic and metal housing, plus a flat leg movable ring style for secure mounting on suitable surfaces. For accurate sensing, apply thermal grease and ensure the metal surface of the switch makes full contact with the heated surface during installation.
