The Meter Star KSD302 thermostat temperature control switch is a normally closed snap disc switch designed to keep the circuit closed under normal conditions and open the circuit when the temperature reaches 65°C/149°F.

Rated 16A/250V, this temperature control switch is used for replacement or installation in a range of household and commercial electric heating equipment, including water dispensers, heaters, kitchen appliances, dryers, coffee makers, and space heaters. The metal sensing cover and plastic housing support contact temperature sensing in a compact, lightweight design.

The KSD302 curved leg fixed ring helps provide secure mounting on suitable surfaces. For accurate thermal response, install the metal cover in full contact with the heated surface; thermal conductive grease is recommended for improved heat transfer. Avoid deforming the cover during installation.
