Temperature-sensitive appliances and heating equipment need a switch that responds when the set temperature is reached. The Meter Star KSD302 thermostat temperature control switch is made for thermal management in compatible water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, water dispensers, heating equipment, small appliances, and other electric heating devices using the same specifications.

This normally open snap disc thermostat is rated 16A/250V and operates at 70°C/158°F. Its bimetallic snap disc mechanism reacts to temperature changes, while the metal sensing cover supports heat transfer and the plastic housing provides electrical insulation. Each switch weighs 5g for compact installation in suitable assemblies.

For proper installation, place the metal cover in full contact with the appliance surface. Thermal conductive paste may be used to improve heat transfer, and the cover should not be deformed during mounting. The KSD302 curved-leg fixed ring design helps position the switch securely in compatible systems.
