The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat temperature control switch is a normally open snap disc switch that closes the circuit when temperature rises above its 65°C/149°F set point.

Rated 10A at 250V, this thermal control switch uses a mechanical snap-action disc design for temperature response. The metal sensing cover and plastic housing support installation in space-limited appliance layouts, while the flat leg movable ring KSD301 design helps with secure mounting and thermal contact.

For improved sensing accuracy, apply thermal conductive grease between the switch metal surface and the appliance contact area as recommended. Suitable applications include water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, sandwich toasters, electric coffee pots, disinfection cabinets, and other electric heating devices requiring temperature-initiated activation or overheating protection.
