Overheating can affect the operation of electric heating equipment when a dependable temperature cut-off point is needed. The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat temperature control switch is a normally closed snap disc switch designed to open the circuit when the sensing surface reaches 85°C/185°F.

This KSD301 temperature switch is rated 10A at 250V and uses a bimetallic snap-action mechanism for clear circuit control at the set temperature. It is suitable for compatible heating appliance applications including water heaters, water dispensers, coffee makers, space heaters, dryers, and similar electric heating devices.

The switch features metal and plastic construction, a compact lightweight design of 5 g per unit, and a flat leg movable ring for surface mounting. For accurate thermal sensing, install the metal cover flush against the appliance surface and apply thermal grease or thermal conductive compound as required.

Each pack includes 5 KSD301 normally closed thermostat switches for appliance repair, replacement work, equipment projects, or keeping spare temperature control switches available for compatible applications.
