Heating appliances and equipment often need a compact switch that responds when a set temperature is reached. The Meter Star KSD301 snap disc thermostat switch is designed for applications where a normally open circuit should close after the sensed temperature exceeds 140°C/284°F.

Rated 10A/250V, this thermostat switch uses snap-action contact operation for temperature-triggered circuit control. It features a metal sensing cover, plastic body, flat leg movable ring design, and a lightweight 5g construction for suitable surface installation in appliance and equipment repair projects.

For accurate sensing, mount the metal cover directly against the controlled surface. Apply thermal conductive grease to the sensing surface and avoid deforming the cover during installation, as full surface contact supports proper thermal response.
