The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat temperature control switch uses a normally closed circuit that stays closed during normal operation and opens when the set temperature is exceeded.

This snap-action bimetal thermostat has a 135°C/275°F action temperature and a 250V 10A rating. It is suitable for compatible water heaters, coffee makers, dryers, microwave ovens, small industrial equipment, and gas or electric appliance service projects where these specifications match the required part.

The compact metal and plastic construction uses a KSD301 flat leg movable ring type design for installation in matching assemblies. For improved heat transfer and response, install the metal sensing surface flush against the controlled surface and apply thermal conductive paste between the thermostat and the appliance surface.
