Unstable temperature control can affect the operation of electrical heating equipment and may require a reliable replacement switch during repair or maintenance. The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat temperature control switch is designed to open the circuit when the preset temperature reaches 90°C/194°F, making it suitable for automatic shut-off and temperature control applications.

This normally closed snap disc thermostat keeps the circuit closed during normal operation and opens when the set temperature is exceeded. It is rated 10A 250V and uses a snap-action bimetal mechanism for fast switching in compatible household and industrial electrical heating equipment.

The compact thermostat features metal and plastic construction, a flat leg movable ring design, and a lightweight 5 g per unit body for flexible installation on compatible mounting surfaces. For accurate sensing and thermal transfer, apply thermal conductive paste or silicone grease between the thermostat metal surface and the installation point.

Suitable applications include replacement or temperature control projects for water heaters, water dispensers, coffee makers, space heaters, dryers, HVAC equipment, and other compatible electrical heating devices.
