Gas appliances can become difficult to light when the ignition module or spark wiring no longer performs correctly. This Meter Star 1.5V pulse igniter is designed as a practical replacement or installation component for compatible LPG and natural gas ignition systems without requiring mains wiring.

The unit operates with a standard AA battery, helping simplify installation and battery replacement where the appliance design supports this type of igniter. It is suitable for use with compatible stoves, ovens, outdoor grills, heaters and similar gas equipment.

The igniter generates a spark across a 2-4mm discharge gap and includes two 400mm ceramic-insulated spark ignition wires. The ceramic insulation supports electrical insulation and heat resistance in high-temperature appliance areas.

For flexible positioning during installation, the HV lead wires are adjustable from 250mm to 800mm. The unit is rated for more than 30,000 ignition cycles, operates in ambient temperatures from -20°C to 85°C, and includes components rated up to 120°C.
