Commercial gas fryers rely on a high limit safety switch to interrupt operation when oil or system temperature rises beyond the set threshold. This Meter Star PP10084 manual reset thermostat switch is designed for foodservice fryer maintenance, replacement, and repair.

The switch opens the circuit at 450°F (230°C), with a calibrated trip range of 450°F ±15°F. Its manual reset, trip-free button keeps the fryer off after a high temperature event until the reset button is pressed, helping technicians check the overheating condition before restarting the unit.

Built for demanding kitchen environments, the housing is rated for ambient temperatures up to 175°F, and the nickel sensing bulb with capillary withstands temperatures up to 550°F. The SPST switch action provides a positive circuit break when the high limit temperature is reached.

Installation is supported by a standard 1/4 in NPT mounting nut. This high limit thermostat switch is compatible with numerous commercial fryer series, including Pitco 45C+, 35C+, VF35, MGII, SG14, SG18, SSH55, SSH60, SSH75, SGM, SGF, RTG, and RTE models. It is suitable for routine maintenance, emergency fryer repair, and replacement of worn or failed high limit safety components in restaurants and foodservice kitchens.
