Overheating or poor temperature control can reduce the reliability of electric heating appliances and component repair projects. The Meter Star KSD301 thermostat switch provides a fixed-temperature control solution for circuits that require a normally closed thermal cutoff at 180°C/356°F.

During normal operation, the circuit remains closed. When the sensing surface reaches the set temperature, the snap disc mechanism opens the circuit for responsive temperature control. Each switch is rated 250V 10A and uses a flat leg movable ring design for secure mounting directly onto heated surfaces.

For accurate thermal sensing, install the metal cover in full contact with the monitored surface. Apply thermal conductive paste, such as silicone grease, when required to support effective heat transfer to the sensing surface.

This pack of 5 is suitable for maintenance, DIY appliance repair, and batch replacement when voltage, current, and temperature requirements match.
