When an electric heating appliance needs reliable heat control, a worn or mismatched thermostat can affect circuit operation and temperature management. The Meter Star KSD301 temperature control switch is a normally closed snap disc thermostat designed to open the circuit when the set temperature of 160°C/320°F is exceeded.

This KSD301 thermostat is rated 10A at 250V and uses a snap-action disc mechanism for quick switching. It features metal and plastic construction, a compact 5 g per unit design, and a flat leg movable ring KSD301 type structure for mounting and thermal sensing.

Use it for compatible water heaters, water dispensers, coffee makers, sandwich toasters, dryers, drying cabinets, microwave ovens, and other electric heating systems. For effective temperature sensing, apply thermal conductive paste or silicone grease between the metal cover and the installation surface, and avoid deforming the cover during installation.

The pack includes 5 identical normally closed thermostats, making it practical for multiple repairs, replacement projects, or keeping spare temperature control switches available for maintenance work.
