Meter Star 1/2 Inch Brass Gas Quick Connect Kit for Natural Gas and Propane Grills, Heaters and RV Hookups

Gas grills, patio heaters, RV hookups and other compatible gas appliances often require a secure connection that can be disconnected for setup, storage or seasonal use. The Meter Star 1/2 inch brass gas quick connect kit helps simplify low-pressure natural gas and propane connections to fixed fuel sources.

The quick-disconnect design allows tool-free connection and disconnection of gas lines. It features a 1/2 inch Female Pipe Thread NPT to 1/2 inch Female Flare connection and can be used as an inline coupler to connect two hose assemblies or as an adapter for a male threaded connection.

Made from 100% solid brass, this gas fitting is intended for indoor and outdoor gas service applications where corrosion resistance and durable construction are important. It is rated for temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C), supports a flow rate of up to 100,000 BTU per hour and uses standardized 1/2 inch NPT threads commonly found on residential gas supply lines.

This gas quick connect fitting is CSA certified for consumer use. Installation should be performed by a qualified technician according to local codes. Apply proper pipe thread sealant to threaded connections and perform a leak test before operation. Verify appliance and supply line specifications before purchase. This product is for gas service only and is not intended for potable water or human consumption applications.
