Meter Star 750mV 36-Inch Thermocouple Replacement for Gas Fireplace, Stove, Oven, Water Heater and Furnace Pilot Sensors

A weak or failed thermocouple can prevent a gas appliance from operating properly because the gas valve depends on pilot flame detection. This Meter Star 750mV replacement thermocouple is designed for gas fireplaces, gas stoves, ovens, water heaters and heating furnaces.

When heated by the pilot light, the thermocouple generates a small electrical current to help signal the gas valve to stay open. If the pilot flame goes out, the signal stops so the valve can close, helping the appliance operate as intended.

The 36-inch thermocouple uses high-temperature resistant materials, including a glass fiber wrapping line and aluminum metal envelope. It is designed for normal operation within a 700-750°C temperature range and has internal resistance varying between 1,500 mΩ and 4,500 mΩ at 25°C.
