Outdoor cooking and heating setups often need more than one gas connection, but changing hoses between appliances can slow down setup. The Meter Star 3/8 inch gas Y splitter is designed to split a low-pressure natural gas or propane source into two quick-connect outlets for outdoor gas appliance use. Made from 100% solid brass, this 2 way quick connect adapter includes a durable rubber cap and is sized for 3/8 inch hose connections. It is suitable for low-pressure natural gas or propane system equipment used with RV gas grills or stoves, backyard barbecue grills, patio heaters, pizza ovens, patio fire pits, tailgating stoves and multiple heaters. To use, confirm the appliance, hose size, gas type and local requirements match this 3/8 inch quick connect fitting. Connect the adapter to the gas source, attach the 3/8 inch hoses, and follow the appliance operating instructions. When a hose is disconnected, the shutoff design helps stop flow. The CSA certified fitting provides a practical connection option for outdoor living gas setups.
